Tasksmithy is actively being developed and improved. We're working towards Chrome Store approval, but in the meantime, you can start using the extension today via our developer installation method. This gives you early access to test the tool and help shape its development. Once we launch officially, updating will be seamless.

Download the Tasksmithy Chrome extension package:
Download Extension ZIPSave the ZIP file to a location you can easily find (usually your Downloads folder).
Extract the downloaded ZIP file to a folder on your computer. You'll need the path to this folder in the next step.
Open Chrome and navigate to the extensions page. You can either:
chrome://extensions/ in your address barIn the top-right corner of the extensions page, toggle the "Developer mode" switch to enable it.
Click the "Load unpacked" button and select the folder where you extracted the extension files.
The extension will now appear in your extensions list and is ready to use!
Click the Tasksmithy extension icon and configure your API settings to connect the extension with your Tasksmithy account.
You can manage and generate API keys from your account dashboard.

Make sure you've extracted the ZIP file completely and are selecting the extracted folder (not the ZIP file itself).
Check your Downloads folder or wherever you chose to extract the ZIP file.
Verify that you've correctly entered your API key in the extension settings. Keys are case-sensitive.
